The
Riverwalk Project
The
building of the Riverwalk is well on its way. Phase one is completed
with the construction of the glass enclosed picnic shelter and
Performance Ampitheater.
Phase
Two will include sidewalk improvements, a meandering path and
a landscaped path along First Street. To help with the completion
of the Riverwalk Project, we are launching our first-ever community
fundraising campaign. We are asking for your help! There are
several ways that you can contribute to a project that will
be for all to enjoy
- Patron
donation of $2,000 - Boardwalk lamp post dedication plaque
- With
your donation of $500 you will receive an 80lb brass ship's propeller
with a 27" blade and stand.
- For
a donation of $100 you will receive a 30" wooden Chinook salmon
on which we will engrave your last name.
- For
$25 you can "leave your mark" and have your name or message
inscribed on a 4" X 8" brick. The brick path will run along
First Street surrounded by colored concrete. You may choose to buy more
than one brick and have your childrens' names be part of Bandon's history,
or perhaps a brick in memory of a loved one, or to memorialize a special
date. You can have up to 3 lines and 14 characters per line (including
spaces)
- For
$50 you may have a 4" X 8" brick with a brass insert and have
3 lines with up to 18 characters per line (including spaces) for your
inscriptions
- For
$450 you can dedicate boardwalk tables or benches created by local artisans
plaqued in bronze with your inscription.
