May contain: nature, outdoors, scenery, water, waterfront, architecture, building, hotel, lake, resort, and housing

An exchange between the port and the US Fish and Wildlife Services in the mid 1980's resulted in trading the Bandon Marsh for the historic station which houses the port office, port maintenance shops and several private businesses. This building constructed in 1939 is maintained by the port on the National Historic Register as the 'Historic Coquille River Life Boat Station'.
